Full-Time Activities Assistant

Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences that bring joy and engagement to residents’ daily lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and leading engaging activities and programs for our residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities.
  • Help coordinate outings, special events, holiday celebrations, and other community activities.
  • Build positive relationships with residents while learning and incorporating their individual interests and preferences.
  • Assist residents with participating in activities as needed.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable activities environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Assist with transportation and community outings when needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and genuine interest in working with older adults.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
