The Opportunity As the Director of Housing Choice Voucher Program, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for a department dedicated to helping families access affordable housing opportunities through the Housing Choice Voucher Program. You'll lead a talented team, drive program performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong relationships with residents, landlords, community partners, and HUD stakeholders. You will play a critical role in advancing PCHA's mission by ensuring the efficient, effective, and customer-focused delivery of housing assistance services. How You'll Make an Impact Lead with Accountability Oversee all aspects of Housing Choice Voucher Program operations. Monitor program performance, voucher utilization, budgets, and funding. Develop strategies that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and resident outcomes. Ensure the program consistently meets organizational and regulatory goals. Operate with Integrity Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, agency policies, and federal requirements. Maintain accurate reporting and financial oversight. Promote transparency, fairness, and consistency in program administration. Serve as a trusted representative of PCHA with stakeholders and community partners. Drive Innovation Evaluate housing trends, funding opportunities, and legislative changes to identify new solutions and opportunities. Streamline operations and improve service delivery. Leverage data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and strengthen program outcomes. Help shape the future of housing assistance in Pinellas County. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in federally subsidized housing programs or related fields. HCV Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within the first year of employment). Florida Driver's License and ability to meet insurability requirements. Preferred Extensive knowledge of HUD regulations and Housing Choice Voucher Program administration. Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and driving operational performance.
