About the Role:
Red Lightning Field Service LLC is looking for a motivated and hardworking Shop Helper to join our team in Largo, FL! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, learn hands-on skills, and grow within a dynamic field service environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians and senior staff with daily shop operations and tasks
- Organize and maintain shop cleanliness, tools, and equipment
- Load, unload, and stage parts, materials, and supplies as needed
- Support inventory management, including stocking shelves and tracking materials
- Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of shop facilities and work areas
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in a shop environment
- Assist with prepping equipment and vehicles for field service jobs
Requirements:
- No prior experience required — a willingness to learn and work hard is a must
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well within a team environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in field service/trades is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop setting
