How you’ll contribute
A Histology Technician who excels in this role:
Able to perform/knowledge of all items in the Histology Competency Assessment Booklet and takes initiative to complete competencies.
Meets turn-around-time standards.
Maintains orderly filing system for block and slides.
Block and slide prep completed accurately.
Orders Histo/Cyto supplies.
Correct entry of information into Windowpath computer system.
Statistical/QA reports complete and timely.
Maintenance is performed adequately on equipment.

What we’re looking forÂ
Completion of a certified Histology Tech program.Â
Completion of appropriate training/internship.
License: CLA or equivalent training in histology.
