JOB TITLE: Server

DEPARTMENT: Legacy Club

JOB SUMMARY:

The server position is to ensure that all guests are greeted and attended to in a timely, friendly and professional manner. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
• Greeting and acknowledging all guests within one minute of being seated with a professional and positive attitude
• Seating Guests when required
• Take orders from guests for food and beverage
• Complete understanding of POS system to ensure timely service of orders
• Presentation of meu to guests, answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon requests
• Explain various menu items, preparation, ingredients and cooking methods

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Professional personal appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards
• Prior experience as a food or cocktail server is desirable
• Must have interpersonal skills and demonstrate a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Alcohol Awareness Card 
• Southern Nevada Health Card 
• Culinary Union Referral

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
• Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. 
• These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.  Constant contact with fellow team members
• Must be able to carry up to 20lbs of beverages/food on a tray above shoulder
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
