About the role

The Revenue Analyst provides foundational analytical support to the revenue management function by collecting, organizing, and validating data from various systems and market sources. They perform routine and ad-hoc analyses of key performance metrics—such as occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR—to identify trends, flag anomalies, and generate the reporting needed to inform tactical decisions.


What you will do

  • Collect and organize data from various sources (e.g., Property Management System, market reports, booking platforms) to support the revenue manager's commercial strategies.
  • Monitor and report on channel acquisition costs, contribution margins, and other profitability metrics to 
    inform the revenue manager's decisions.
  • Assist in managing inventory and rate parity across all distribution channels by conducting daily audits and 
    reporting discrepancies.
  • Perform routine analysis of key performance metrics (e.g., occupancy, ADR, RevPAR) to generate reports to 
    highlight performance trends and anomalies.
  • Prepare data and reports for Revenue Strategy Meetings, providing foundational information for the 
    revenue manager to present
  • Support the revenue manager in the annual budget and commercial planning processes by providing 
    historical data and performance projections.
  • Update and maintain weekly forecasts and demand calendars, ensuring accuracy by incorporating market 
    data and event information
  • Compile performance data for marketing and sales campaigns to help the revenue manager assess their 
    effectiveness
  • Provide data-driven support to the sales team for group bookings and corporate rate negotiations
  • Assist in ensuring departmental alignment with the commercial strategy by providing performance data 
    and reports to relevant teams
  • Support the analysis of total revenue performance across all hotel departments.
  • Rate code loading; coordinate and update content hub activities; data alignment between tools and 
    systems (BI, RMS, PMS, Financial)
  • Prepares data and basic visualizations to support the manager's narrative, ensuring accuracy and clarity

What you bring

Analyze guest behavior data and booking trends to identify patterns and present findings to the revenue manager. Six months to one year’s experience working in hotel revenue management or a similar business analytics role. Experience and strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and data visuals.
