The primary responsibility of the Beverage Server/Cocktails is to ensure complete customer satisfaction by serving and providing beverages to our guests to ensure an enjoyable stay.Â
Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner. Â
- Provides timely cocktail service in a friendly and courteous manner. Â
- Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles. Â
- Constantly looking for service opportunities. Â
- Responds to and resolves guest complaints. Â
- Answers guest questions and is knowledgeable about property events and attractions.Â
- Performs all side work at assigned station, such as, stocking coffee, glasses, sugar, cream and coffee dispenser. Â
- Provides fast (20 minutes or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every roundÂ
- Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guestsÂ
- Maintains clean and stocked workstationÂ
- Handles money according to procedureÂ
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelinesÂ
- Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photosÂ
- Promotes casino events and programsÂ
- Works closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign up programs.Â
- Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisorÂ
- Provides personalized service and uses guest nameÂ
- Resolves service problems according to guidelines Â
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.Â
Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older. Â
- One-year previous high volume cocktail experience. Â
- Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service, is required. Â
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Â
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Â
- Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation. Â
- Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift. Â
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Â
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.Â
- Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.Â
- Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.Â
