About the Role:
Valley Home Health Care Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to join our caring team in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document patient health status, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Requirements:
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of Nevada
- Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a home environment
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with a client-first attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
