About the role

The Medical Office Assistant for Trilogy Wellness (Regard MGT PA) works in the medical office completing a variety of tasks to ensure patient care, office readiness, and organizational growth. Their role is to interact with patients in person, via Zoom and phone for scheduling, check-in, toxicology, and check out. They interact with community partners to ensure referral sources for patients, maintain the office, and attend community events on behalf of the company. This position can be so much more than just an Office Assistant! Come work for a growing practice with room for advancement!  This position does require travel between offices Greensburg, Connellsville, Latrobe and Monroeville. Travel is paid. 

What you'll do

  • Provide outstanding customer service Greeting patients
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Verify Insurance information
  • Collect co-pays/payments due
  • Deposit cash at the bank
  • Answer phones, return messages
  • Schedule new and existing patients
  • Collection of drug screen samples
  • Creating and maintaining a clean and welcoming office environment
  • Data entry, running reports, auditing and filing
  • Managing, updating, and charting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)
  • Creating and maintaining community partnerships
  • Assist patients and providers with referrals to community partners
  • Attending community events on behalf of the organization
  • Participating in after hours on-call rotation
  • Other office duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • High School or Equivalent (Required)
  • US Work authorization (Required)
  • Drivers License (Required)
  • Customer Services experience (Required)
  • Office experience (Preferred)
  • EMR experience (Preferred)
  • Previous medical office experience (Preferred)

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Weekdays (Hours Vary) and every other Saturday
  • Compensation: $16-$19/hr depending on experience plus Paid Travel
  • 401k, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Dental and Vision Insurance offered
