Position Summary
Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC (CFDay) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a federal curriculum modernization, e-learning development, and instructor-led training revision program supporting the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Institute of Corrections (NIC). The Project Manager will serve as the Government’s primary contractor point of contact and lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for concurrent course-development efforts, schedules, resources, quality, risks, stakeholder communications, and overall contract performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Government stakeholders.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of curriculum-development initiatives.
- Manage multiple concurrent course-development schedules, milestones, resources, and priorities.
- Direct and coordinate instructional designers, technical writers, graphic designers, accessibility/QA personnel, and corrections subject matter experts.
- Identify project risks, schedule delays, resource issues, and mitigation actions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, status information, and monthly progress reports.
- Brief course milestones and overall program status to Government stakeholders.
- Maintain quality, schedule, and performance discipline throughout the development lifecycle.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of at least 5 personnel.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience managing federal training, instructional design, curriculum development, or e-learning programs.
- Experience supporting Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, National Institute of Corrections, or similar federal training environments.
