The Role

Safely transport supplies to and from plants in a timely and prompt manner. Manage liquid and solid waste removal and ensure appropriate disposal. Display understanding of good warehousing practices (GWPs), Company Policies (QFSEs), and other revenant food safety and food quality requirements.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Pick materials from appropriate locations (Ex. Warehouse, Plants and/or Reclaim Center), load on straight truck (not to exceed 26,000 lbs) and deliver to said sites in a safe and timely manner.
  • Safely haul recyclable items to the Reclaim Center and empty barrels back to plants.
  • Works under tight delivery and high stress schedules while maintaining efficiencies and professionalism.
  • Safely and efficiently drive straight truck with expertise and fork truck in tight and difficult situations.
  • Maintain clean truck and monitor proper truck maintenance.
  • Help with inside duties as needed based on assigned job locations such as unloading trucks, processing RM or waste, and other duties as assigned.
  • Support SQF initiative by completing all inspections, records and tasks as requested/directed by supervision.

Pay Rate: Starting rate of $27.42/hr with pay increases at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.  Top rate of pay at 12 months is $30.46/hr. 

 

Shift/Hours: Days.   Approximate shift time of 4:00AM - 2:30 PM.  Normal shift length of 10-12 hours.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma, CDL - Must have Class B CDL and airbrake certification.
  • 2 years driving experience strongly preferred. Fork truck license or ability to get one.
  • WMS experience, understanding of plant schedules, plant lay outs, and GMP's.
  • Straight truck and fork truck driving experience and ability to work with both warehouse and plant employees.
