How you'll contribute
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an Accredited program for Surgical Scub Technicians. Additional requirements include:
- Certified Surgical First Assist certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required within 7 days of hire
Experience
- One or more years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician with CSFA certification required
- Specific knowledge of surgical procedures required
- Extensive communication skills, team building skills, surgical assisting and instrumentation skills required

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Additional requirements include:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (or eligibility to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
6 months of on-the-job experience in a healthcare facility
Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and instrumentationÂ
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills & exercises sound and decisive judgment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Performs effectively in a fast‑paced, stressful environment
- Takes appropriate action in urgent or high‑pressure situations
