Manual Machinist – Experienced

Full-Time | Lebanon, Oregon | Competitive Pay + Stable, Long-Term Work

A respected manufacturing/industrial shop is looking to bring on an experienced Manual Machinist who knows their craft and can run manual lathes, mills, and related equipment with confidence. If you’re the kind of machinist who takes pride in accuracy, craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time, this is a solid opportunity with a company that values skill over shortcuts.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
  • Machine parts to precise specifications using prints, drawings, and verbal instructions
  • Perform measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean, safe work area
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust setups for best results
  • Work independently and collaborate with the shop team to meet production goals
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of manual machining experience (lathe and mill required)
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, feeds/speeds, and tooling
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Solid math and measurement skills
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to quality
  • Experience with threading, boring, facing, and tight‑tolerance work (preferred)
