Warehouse Associate – Lebanon, IN

Kirby Risk is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lebanon, IN!

 

In this role, you'll support customer projects by maintaining the flow of materials from receipt through delivery. This is more than a warehouse job, it's an opportunity to take ownership of inventory operations and play a key role in a growing project-focused operation.

What You will Do as a Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing inventory accuracy and supporting project-based material fulfillment. This role will work closely with our Project Storage team and help maintain the timely flow of materials for key customer projects.

You will:

  • Receive, unload, and organize oversized materials, verifying quantities and inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies and reporting issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Accurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management system
  • Process returns and assist with freight claims as needed
  • Maintain inventory throughout the material lifecycle, including storage, organization, movement, picking, shipment, and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Storage team to ensure materials are available and ready to meet customer project timelines
  • Pick, stage, prepare, and load materials for customer orders safely and accurately using established warehouse processes
  • Operate with a safety first/operational efficiency mindset to guarantee the warehouse is well maintained, shelves are stocked, organized and products are displayed properly
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction

What makes you a Great Fit:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders up to 15 feet
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Experience operating a multi-directional forklift and/or handling, loading, and unloading 20ft bundles of pipe is a plus
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Software is preferred and Auto Desk Construction Cloud is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
