Thinking about leaving agency life for private practice, but worried about trading one set of headaches for another — insurance credentialing, marketing yourself, chasing your own billing? You don't have to do it alone, and you don't have to figure it out from scratch.

Ellie Mental Health is a locally owned, locally operated private practice with locations in Lee's Summit, Independence, State Line Rd (Missouri side), and North Oak. We built our model specifically to make the leap from agency to private practice easy: we handle client inquiries, scheduling, therapist matching, insurance contracting, and billing, so you get the autonomy and earning potential of private practice without having to run a small business on the side.

We believe a great experience for our therapists leads directly to better care and better outcomes for our clients. That's not a tagline — it's how we're structured.

About Ellie Mental Health

Ellie Mental Health is a multi-clinic mental health organization founded on one core principle: destigmatizing mental health. The industry is full of barriers, and we've made it our mission to break them down — for our clients and for the clinicians who serve them.

Our approach to destigmatizing? Humor. Struggling with mental health is 100% normal. Some days are great, some days you want to dig a hole and hide — even your therapist has those days. We believe in meeting that reality with honesty, warmth, and a sense of humor.
