Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a long-term commercial project in Lee, MA.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for steady, long-term work with a contractor whose projects include landfills, parks, site work, earthwork, and other commercial construction projects.
Position Details
- Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
- Equipment: Excavator
- Location: Lee, MA
- Pay: $38–$42/hour, depending on experience
- Project: Long-term commercial project
- Schedule: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate an excavator on commercial construction projects
- Perform excavation, grading, digging, loading, and other site/earthwork duties
- Work around landfills, parks, and other large-scale commercial sites
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
- Work effectively with ground crews and other equipment operators
Requirements
- Proven experience operating an excavator
- Experience with site work, earthwork, landfills, parks, or similar commercial construction projects preferred
- Valid Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License required
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong understanding of construction site safety
