Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Walkthrough in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, support access-control activities, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a data center location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications, and communicate observations promptly to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
