We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, develop our people, and help drive safe, efficient, and consistent production. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader who isn't afraid to be on the floor, jump in when needed, and lead by example. What You'll Do As our Production Supervisor, you'll oversee daily production while working closely with employees, leadership, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and other teams. You'll help ensure production goals are met while improving processes, reducing downtime, and building accountability across the operation. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery expectations. Serve as a hands-on leader, including operating production machinery when needed to support the team. Lead, coach, and develop production employees while establishing clear expectations and accountability. Monitor production performance, including productivity, efficiency, downtime, and throughput. Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, standard work, and SOPs. Coordinate staffing, PTO, production priorities, and resources to support production needs. Partner with Maintenance and other departments to reduce downtime and resolve production challenges. Coordinate closely with Night Shift leadership to strengthen shift handoffs and keep production schedules on track. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure company safety policies and requirements are followed. Communicate production risks, constraints, priorities, and opportunities to leadership and other departments. QualificationsWhat We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Significant manufacturing or production leadership experience. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage production operations. Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to communicate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Continuous improvement mindset with an understanding of standardized processes and operational discipline. Ability and willingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements This position requires regular movement throughout a manufacturing environment, use of required PPE, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs or ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
