The Opportunity

Infinity Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Clinical Excellence & Impact

Our providers deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. You will:

  • Provide primary care and/or urgent/walk-in services across the lifespan
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Deliver preventive care, including wellness exams, screenings, and immunizations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Promote healthy behaviors through patient education and counseling
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
  • Participate in value-based care and population health initiatives
  • Contribute to clinical quality improvement and peer review activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients as needed
  • Participate in after-hours coverage and shared on-call rotation
  • Conduct nursing home rounds as applicable
  • Engage in quality improvement and peer review activities
  • Precept students as opportunities arise
  • Attend organizational meetings and ongoing education sessions

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) in the State of Iowa
  • Active DEA license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Prior clinical experience preferred (community health experience a plus)
