Responsibilities and Duties
 The Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist role is responsible for credit and collections on behalf of the company. The position is responsible for reviewing and approval of new dealers and Lester Buildings contracts; and working directly with our customers to keep their accounts current. Responsibilities also include daily invoice processing, cash application along with completing other miscellaneous documents as needed.Â

Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up and appointment of new dealersÂ
- Review and approval of Lester Buildings contractsÂ
- Review and analyze customer credit applications, financial statements, fund verifications and credit reportsÂ
- Establish and update credit limits and terms based on risk assessmentsÂ
- Collecting of past due accounts, including working with outside agencies and attorneys on collectionsÂ
- Daily invoicingÂ
- Claims/credit processingÂ
- Cash applicationÂ
- Prepare cash on delivery notificationsÂ
- Prepare prepayment notificationÂ
- Manage and process liensÂ
- Maintain license and permit bondsÂ
- Performance bondsÂ
- Maintain certificates of insurance filesÂ
- Prepare monthly borrowing base certificateÂ
- Process monthly customer statementsÂ
- Monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable and depositsÂ
- Manage & process sales taxÂ
Qualifications
- Accounting diploma or associate degree in accounting is requiredÂ
- Minimum accounting experience of at least 2 years is necessaryÂ
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills are requiredÂ
- Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness is criticalÂ
- Strong communication skills with the ability to be assertive is necessaryÂ
- Must be a team player and highly motivatedÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordÂ
- ERP system knowledge is a plusÂ
- Familiarity with manufacturing and construction process is a plusÂ
Salary Range
$25.00 to $30.00 an hour
The specific compensation offered to a candidate varies by several factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications and internal pay equity. This position is eligible for Company profit sharing potential.Â
