Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC HAAS Machine Operator to join our manufacturing and machining team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC HAAS machines to produce high-quality precision parts that meet strict manufacturing specifications and tolerances.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining, blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and HAAS controls, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC HAAS machines to perform precision machining on metal and other materials 
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, setup sheets, and machining instructions 
• Work from established setups and production prints to complete machining operations efficiently 
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily output and efficiency goals 
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely throughout the production process 
• Use HAAS CNC controls to run, adjust, and optimize machine operations 
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments as needed 
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools 
• Maintain accurate production records, setup documentation, and work orders 
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment inspections 
• Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and all safety protocols 
• Produce consistent, high-quality precision parts with minimal supervision 
• Support overall machining and production team goals as needed 
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC HAAS machines (preferred)
• Experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, or precision production preferred 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production environment

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
