  • Create assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), parts lists, and vendor/contractor drawing packages.

  • Incorporate engineering markups, contractor redlines, field verification, and as-built updates.

  • Conduct field walkdowns to verify existing conditions and resolve drawing discrepancies.

  • Identify potential layout, constructability, accessibility, maintainability, safety, and production-flow concerns.

  • Coordinate drawing and model updates with engineering, production, maintenance, safety, vendors, and contractors.

  • Maintain CAD files, drawing registers, revisions, document-control records, and release workflows.

  • Support production and installation teams with drawing updates and field issue resolution.

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical certification, CAD/drafting certificate, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong understanding of drawing standards, title blocks, layers, naming conventions, revision control, drawing registers, and release workflows.

  • Ability to review supplier, contractor, and vendor drawings for dimensional accuracy, installation feasibility, interface conflicts, and completeness.

  • Experience creating 3D assembly models, detail drawings, fabrication prints, parts lists, BOMs, and contractor-ready packages.

  • Strong practical GD&T knowledge in accordance with ASME Y14.5, including datum structures, dimensional tolerances, weld symbols, materials, finishes, and fabrication requirements.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
