Overview: Electrically test high voltage capacitors according to engineering specifications and quality standards

Job Responsibilities:
- Electrically test capacitors using LCR, IR, and LC meters
- Capacitor voltage testing, AC and DC
- Set up and perform pulse testing of capacitors
- Ability to set up complex testing involving inverters and resonant frequency circuits
- Performs mechanical tests of capacitors for dimension accuracy
- Ability to read and follow advanced test procedures including military standards
- Ability to adhere to the highest standard of quality while continually performing at the highest level possible
 Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend oral and written instructions and other manufacturing documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and co-workers
Computer Skills:
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and additional test specific software
- Ability to read and understand test specifications
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit - Full body movement
- Constant alertness
- Routinely lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Education Requirements
    Mathematical: Ability to convert between SAE, Metric measurements, and engineering prefixes (i.e. milli, micro(µ), etc.)
    High School diploma or GED

Work Environment:
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the potential of electrical shocks
- Occasionally exposed to exterior temperature conditions - heat in the summer, cold in the winter
- Regularly exposed to loud noise
