Full Time Firefighter

**NEW WAGES**

The City of Lincoln Park is accepting applications for Full Time Firefighter.  Paramedic is preferred.

Annual Wage Scale effective July 1, 2026:

Firefighter $67,547.79

6 Months $70,859.36

12 Months $72,791.03

18 Months $76,654.34

24 Months $80,637.00

30 Months $86,750.75

Lateral Transfer Pay with qualified experience.

Minimum qualifications of applicant:

18 years of age
Legally employable in the United States
No felony convictions
Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
State of Michigan Paramedic license
All candidates must pass a background investigation, psychological exam, physical with drug screen.

During the application process, we request a copy of the following documents:

• Copy of Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization
• Copy of valid State of Michigan Drivers License
• High School/GED and College Diploma
• High School/GED and College Transcripts
• Copy of State of Michigan Firefighter I and II Certificates
• Copy of State of Michigan Paramedic License
• Copy of ACLS Certificate
• Copy of BLS Certificate
• Copy of Western Wayne / EMPCO Written Examination Certificate
• Copy of CPAT or OPAT Physical Examination Certificate
• Copy of Hazardous Materials Operations Certificate
• Completed copy of the "Background Screening Application Form"
