Job DetailsJob Location: Lincoln, CA 95648Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Shift: DayJob Category: Count RoomPosition Summary: The Count Team Assistant Supervisor will oversee Drop and Count Room processes and ensure adherence to minimum internal control standards. Responsibilities include protecting company assets and accounting for all funds associated with gaming and non-gaming revenues. Supervise Drop and Count Team Members and maintain control of sensitive casino keys. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: 1.    Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. 2.    Inspect drop and count equipment periodically, and report any mechanical issues to the Count Team Manager. Place service calls to equipment vendors as necessary. 3.    Supervise and coach Drop and Count Team Members on proper procedures as needed. Resolve problems as they arise. Ensure company policies are being enforced and safety guidelines are being followed.  Train new Team Members. 4.    Empty, sort, stack, and process contents of all drop boxes, kiosk cassettes, and other currency holding containers 5.    Operate count equipment in a safe, efficient and cautious manner to minimize mechanical equipment malfunction and potential injury. 6.    Place all funds into currency counting machines and enter data into computer programs.  Manually count and verify all totals.  Balance figures to the required documentation. 7.    Evaluate the count process periodically and make adjustments to mitigate potential   work flow stoppage and meet processing time requirements. 8.    Responsible for maintaining the Hazard Communication Standard for your area. 9.    Be familiar with OSHA safety codes related to your area. 10.    Attend property provided training classes as designated by the Count Team Management. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: 1.    High volume cash-handling experience is required, including experience working with currency counting equipment. 2.    Supervisory experience is required.  Count Room experience is preferred. 3.    Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 4.    Basic math skills. 5.    Basic data entry skills. 6.    Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information. 7.    Ability to work quickly and efficiently. 8.    Ability to understand gaming regulation minimum internal control standards and requirements for drop and count. 9.    Must be at least 21 years of age.  10.    Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License. Physical Requirements: 1.    Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. 2.    Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance. 3.    Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift. 4.    Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment. 5.    Ability to crouch, kneel, push, turn, carry, and pull.
