We partner with people with disabilities to provide support services, develop inclusive housing, and create spaces where people feel genuinely connected—not just accommodated.      The Senior Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for Fello's Self-Directed Services participant employees. This position is responsible for employee updates, tax changes, garnishments, and compliance reporting, and performs a broad range of payroll review activities including timecard review, data entry and confirmation, and analysis of computer-generated data using Paycom.       The Senior Payroll Specialist resolves escalated payroll tickets from the Stakeholder Relations team, supports collaboration across Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Budget, and backs up other Payroll Specialists as needed. The Senior Payroll Specialist must manage multiple demands and deadlines with versatility and recommend process or automation improvements to increase payroll efficiency.  QualificationsThe ideal candidate brings a minimum of three years of experience in payroll, including experience with payroll systems, large-scale payroll processing, and payroll taxes and garnishments; experience with Paycom is a plus. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, integrity, and accuracy, with the ability to get things done in an efficient, respectful, and competent manner. The successful candidate is professional and responsive in communication and conduct, works well independently, and can determine priorities and implement necessary actions to meet reporting and processing deadlines. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and other HR/payroll technology tools is strongly preferred.      This position requires a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.      This position is full-time, based in Fello's Linthicum office, with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday during Fello's office hours.
