SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations within our manufacturing facility. This role drives the execution of all receiving, shipping, space management, and inventory control activities. The ideal candidate leads a high-performing team, enforces rigorous safety standards, optimizes layout efficiency, and ensures seamless material flow to support continuous production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Safety
- Direct, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, forklift operators, and material handlers.
- Schedule shift coverage and assign daily tasks to meet production and shipping timelines.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and internal safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
Receiving & Shipping Operations
- Oversee the safe,accurate, andtimelyunloading and verification of all inbound raw materialsand packaging.
- Manage outbound shippinglogistics, ensuring correct picking, packing, staging, and documentation.
- Coordinate withcustomers,freight carriers, dispatchers, and internal procurement teams to resolve logistical delays.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality defects or transit damage.
Inventory Control & Space Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and full physical audits.
- Reconcile physical stock levels against the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization tomaximize storage capacity and minimize travel time.
- Standardize storage locations for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
 Preweigh Operations
- Supervise daily weighing and dispensing of raw materials perbatchrecords.
- Verify team members check material identity, lot numbers, and status labels beforeuse.
- Ensureaccuratebatch quantities and proper labeling of pre-weighed materials.
- Oversee safe staging of materials in designated production areas.
- Maintain complete andaccuratebatch documentation records.
Filling Line Supply and Coordination
- Coordinate thetimelydelivery of packaging materials and bulkproductsto filling lines.
- Monitor filling line schedules to prevent material shortages and minimize downtime.
- Verify correct packaging item codes,componentlots, and bulk product labels before delivery.
- Oversee the safe transport and staging of bulk materials to avoid cross-contamination.
- Reconcile leftover packaging materials and bulk components at the end oftheruns.

- Ensure warehouse needs are metin a timely mannerwhile adhering to all quality, cost, sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Supervise warehouseandPreweighstaffsdaily activities.
- Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, andtimelydelivery of goods and materials.
- Order supplies andmaintainsuitable inventory levels.
- Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Perform daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Ensure that the warehouse department isoptimizedand staffed appropriately based on the demand forecast.
- Ensure the team is compliant with all safety policies and procedures. Address hazards, deviations, and injuriesin a timely manner.
- Develop the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally toassistthe team with operational issues.
- Review andmaintaintime records for employees.
- Handle routine personnel issues including training, coaching, and counseling.
- Participate in hiring and training new employees on job expectations.
- Encourage andparticipatein employee career development.
Qualifications
- 8-10years of warehouse experience in a similar manufacturingor distribution centerenvironment isrequired. 
- Prior experience with managing and developing hourly staff is preferred. 
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Suite applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment. 
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Strong time- management skills
- Ability to multi-task andsolve problems, whilemaintaininga clear sense of priorities and focus. 
- Possess a continuousimprovementmentality. 
- Ability to promote cohesiveness among team members.
