School Registrar

Location: 6423 Stagecoach Road, Little Rock, AR 72204
Compensation: Up to $20/hour DOE
Start Date: ASAP

Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of public K–8 charter schools committed to providing students with a rigorous, high-quality education and preparing them to become tomorrow’s global visionaries. AMS Little Rock represents our continued commitment to serving students and families in the Little Rock community.

The School Registrar supports campus operations by ensuring accurate and timely management of student enrollment, attendance, records, and student information systems. This role works closely with campus and network teams to maintain accurate student data and provide a positive experience for students and families throughout the enrollment process.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage student registration, enrollment, and withdrawal processes.

  • Request records for incoming transfer students and provide student records to other schools upon request.

  • Review and verify required enrollment documentation for accuracy and completeness.

  • Enter and maintain accurate student information within the Student Information System (SIS).

  • Monitor student interest, applications, registrations, and enrollment activity.

  • Maintain electronic and manual student records and cumulative files.

  • Generate reports, attendance records, class lists, and other required student documentation.

  • Facilitate the 45-Day Screening Report process.

  • Maintain grade and attendance databases.

  • Collect and maintain attendance data required for daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

  • Prepare report cards by grading period and maintain appropriate student records.

  • Assist new students and families with the enrollment process, including providing information and campus tours.

  • Maintain classroom assignments and class-size caps as directed.

  • Ensure applicable student programs and designations are accurately reflected within the SIS.

  • Support additional student records and campus operational needs as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience with student records, enrollment, data entry, school operations, or administrative support preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong communication and customer-service skills when working with students, families, staff, and external organizations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student information.

  • Comfortable working with databases, student information systems, and standard office technology.

  • Must successfully complete all required pre-employment background screening.
