The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for the successful transition of new Registered Nurses. This position focuses on professional development to ensure new nurses are well-prepared for their roles. This role involves creating and maintaining training materials and curricula. In addition, this position monitors the progress of new nurses and provides feedback and support.

  • Maintains professional communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired.

  • Remains flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

  • Develops, coordinates, manages, facilitates, conducts, and evaluates onboarding and orientation programs for new Registered Nurses to promote employee retention and a positive learning environment.

  • Validates that orientation requirements are met and adjust programs based on evaluation results in collaboration appropriate personnel.



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or other clinical related field 

  • 3+ years’ experience in clinical education

  • 5+ years’ experience in an acute care hospital

  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (BLS)
