We are looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to help support our growing PostgreSQL environment in Azure. This candidate will need excellent verbal and written skills, be willing to participate in on-call responsibilities, and work well with team members and Software Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Database and table design reviews in Github
- Performance monitoring
- Performance tuning
- Database backup and recovery
- Replication support
- Security management
- On-call support and Emergency support
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Great verbal and written skills
- 5-10 years PostgreSQL
- Bachelor's+ degree or equivalent experience
- Code reviews
- Scripting
- Performance tuning
- Optimization
- Disaster Recovery
- Replication
- User Management
- PostgreSQL Cloud, preferably Azure
- Willing to be part of an on-call rotation
