Summary: The Customer Service Representative, reporting to the Illinois Customer Service Manager, is directly responsible for providing support to customers. Acts as a liaison between customers, operations, and sales team. Â
Interact with customers daily to drive, develop, and expand our presence. Independently communicate product knowledge, order fulfillment, request for information, general inquiries, etc.Â
Act as a liaison between customers, operations, and sales. Â Process customer inquiries in a timely fashion. Support Anderson Process Core Values: Growth, Expertise, Embrace Change, Teamwork, & Community.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process quotes, orders, and RMAs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Sales on inquiries which require involvement from both groups.
- Prioritize, respond to and flag incoming phone calls, e-mail messages and faxes.
- Maintain client relationships by providing exemplary customer experience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Attend product training sessions to support department and business goals.
- Support teamwork and communication within department and organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Experience:
Minimal Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of work quality.
- Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; professional and outgoing personality.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Pump, industrial hose, or filter experience.
- Customer service experience in the industrial equipment industry.
- P21 (Prophet/Epicor), and/or equivalent ERP system usage.
- 2+ years customer service experience, working in a call center or professional office environment.Â
- Willingness to take on new challenges and seek out opportunities to improve business operations.Â
