ABOUT THE ROLE
Primarily responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of daily production activities to ensure
uninterrupted supply, and delivery of product to our customers across two portable plants, one producing
Road Base and the other producing rip-rap.  Working closely with the Plant Manager and hourly workforce,
enhances efficiencies in operations, while maintaining a strong safety culture. This role will also support the
Colorado Front Range Aggregates Business in submiting Capex projects for approval and managing
inventory levels in SAP.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Supervises, coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment.
  • Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules
  • Investigates abnormal operating events, or equipment failures to determine the cause, and makes
    adjustments, repairs and/or modifications, as needed.
  • Performs daily inspections on the plant
  • Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Analyses operational data and reconfigures operating areas as necessary to provide adequate,
    economical service
  • Oversees the overall safety of all personnel working at, or visiting the site.
  • Ensures proper documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports.
  • Maintains an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers service
  • Facilitates regular staff meetings and safety toolbox talks.
  • Regularly communicates Company financial goals and objectives to direct reports, and ensures they are performing activities daily that support those goals.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and
    environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Education: Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience
Required Work Experience:  Three (3) to five (5) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated leadership. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  SAP experience helpful.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved
    Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable
    law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
