About the role

The Reimbursement Operations Enablement Specialist provides dedicated, hands-on support for time-sensitive operational initiatives that fall outside the scope of the team's daily order processing responsibilities. In the contingent phase, this role takes direct ownership of four concurrent workstreams — UAT testing for Amplify and Tennr, the Chart Note Pilot, the Accessory Release Project, and ProChant/AimHire support — work that would otherwise require pulling existing staff from daily duties and creating compounding operational risk to order-to-audit timelines and revenue capture. Upon conversion to a permanent role, this position sits within the Data & Learning / Training & Development function alongside Jessica Bennetts and Danae Dupree, providing standing, dedicated capacity for future pilots, releases, system validation, and training needs — eliminating the recurring resourcing gap that emerges each time new initiatives arise within Recipient Services and Reimbursement.

This is a full-time position with an expected end date of December 31, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Accountability 1

Own and execute UAT testing for Amplify and Tennr, documenting results, identifying defects, and coordinating re-testing cycles through production release.

Accountability 2

Manage the Chart Note Pilot end-to-end, validating documentation for 181 impacted orders, coordinating with clinical and reimbursement partners, and tracking order progression throughout the pilot lifecycle.

Accountability 3

Lead the Accessory Release Project, navigating multiple systems to process releases accurately, coordinating with billing and collections partners, and maintaining milestone tracking and status reporting.

Accountability 4

Provide consistent, dedicated support for ProChant and AimHire, including training new users, maintaining platform documentation, and serving as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and escalations.

Accountability 5

Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and process documentation for new systems and workflows as the role transitions into the Data & Learning / Training & Development function.

Accountability 6

Serve as the standing resource for future pilots, releases, and system-support needs within Recipient Services and Reimbursement, proactively identifying training and operational gaps before they impact daily performance.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• (Preferred) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
• Experience in healthcare operations, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or a related field with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills with a high attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Ability to navigate and learn multiple systems quickly, including reimbursement platforms, CRM tools, and project tracking applications
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings, escalate issues, and deliver status updates to leadership independently
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, prioritize competing demands, and escalate appropriately when needed

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with BrightTree, Salesforce Health Cloud, Oracle, ProChant, AimHire, Amplify, or Tennr
• Experience with UAT, system validation, or software testing processes in a healthcare or DME environment
• Background in training, onboarding, or learning and development with experience creating SOPs and process documentation
• Experience coordinating pilot programs or release management projects across cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of DME billing guidelines, prior authorization requirements, or reimbursement compliance standards

• Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour.  Compensation offered to candidate may vary based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
• This role is not eligible for benefits.
