ATTENDANT (H)

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Parking Attendant to join our team. This is a non-driving position responsible for assisting customers, issuing parking tickets, collecting payments, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced parking environment.

Pay:  $18.50 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

Schedule: 2-day shifts and 2-night shifts. Must have weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Issue parking tickets to customers upon entry.

• Collect parking fees and process cash, credit card, and other approved payment methods.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patrons in a professional and friendly manner.

• Answer customer questions regarding parking rates, facility policies, and directions.

• Monitor parking areas to ensure orderly traffic flow and proper use of parking spaces.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile payments as required.

• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or customer issues to management.

• Keep the parking facility clean, organized, and presentable.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous parking industry experience is a plus.

• Excellent customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
