Regional Director of Operations Location: Ohio & South Carolina Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% Travel Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Operations to provide operational leadership and support across multiple healthcare facilities in Ohio and South Carolina. The Regional Director of Operations will work closely with facility leadership teams to drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance resident satisfaction, and achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare operations management. This individual will be passionate about developing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional care and service. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, oversight, and operational support to assigned facilities. Partner with Executive Directors, Administrators, and department leaders to achieve operational, clinical, and financial goals. Monitor facility performance and implement strategies to improve quality outcomes and resident satisfaction. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead initiatives related to staffing, retention, employee engagement, and organizational culture. Analyze operational and financial reports, identify trends, and implement action plans. Support new facility acquisitions, transitions, and operational improvement projects as needed. Conduct routine site visits and maintain a visible presence within assigned communities. Develop and mentor facility leadership teams to drive accountability and professional growth. Collaborate with corporate departments to ensure consistent implementation of company policies and best practices. Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in Ohio or South Carolina is required. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations. Multi-site management experience strongly preferred. Proven success leading teams, improving operational performance, and managing budgets. Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
