Job Summary
The Digital Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization, management, and distribution of creative marketing and ecommerce assets across all channels. This role focuses on digital asset management, file system organization, and optimizing post-production workflows.
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage digital assets across Dropbox and related shared file systems, ensuring assets are organized, accessible, and up to date.Â
- Maintain and optimize Dropbox organization, folder structures, permissions, and workflows to support efficient asset management and collaboration.
- Develop documentation and best practices to support consistent digital asset organization and management across the organization.Â
- Coordinate the complete digital asset lifecycle, including asset ingestion, organization, metadata tagging, version control, archiving, backups, distribution, and retrieval.
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, Sales, Production, PR, Wholesale, and external partners to fulfill asset requests and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure assets are properly labeled, formatted, complete, and aligned with brand standards before distribution.
- Establish, document, and continuously improve digital asset management processes, metadata standards, and post-production workflows to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor asset usage, maintain version control, archive outdated content, and ensure teams are working from the latest approved assets.
- Coordinate the organization and distribution of seasonal campaign, Ecommerce, retail, wholesale, and PR assets for internal teams and external partners.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements that support a growing digital asset library.
- Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of all creative, marketing, and product assets.
- Demonstrate a high level of quality, professionalism, accountability, attendance, and teamwork.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for digital asset requests, ensuring timely fulfillment and exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Library Science, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital asset management, creative operations, production, or content management.
- Strong understanding of file formats, metadata, naming conventions, and digital asset workflows.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Experience managing digital assets within Dropbox or similar cloud-based storage platforms is preferred.Â
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple requests from cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Experience working in fashion, luxury, retail, or Ecommerce is preferred.
