About the RoleĀ
LanguageBird is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow and strengthen our partnerships with schools, districts, and other affiliate organizations. This role combines relationship-building with new business development, deepening existing partnerships while identifying and developing new opportunities for LanguageBirdās programs and services.Ā
Working closely with Revenue leadership and cross-functional teams, the Regional Sales Manager will help expand LanguageBirdās institutional presence and build lasting partnerships that connect more learners with high-quality language learning experiences.Ā
Key Responsibilities Ā
- Build and strengthen relationships with schools, districts, and other affiliate partnersĀ Ā
- Grow existing partnerships by understanding partner needs and identifying opportunities to expand LanguageBirdās programs and servicesĀ Ā
- Develop new institutional relationships and guide prospective partners through the sales process from initial outreach through executed agreementĀ Ā
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified institutional opportunities across assigned marketsĀ Ā
- Develop a strong understanding of institutional buyers, market needs, and emerging opportunities to help inform LanguageBirdās approach to B2B growthĀ Ā
- Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Academics, and Operations to support a strong partner experience from initial conversation through implementationĀ Ā
- Maintain accurate pipeline, partner, and sales activity information in LanguageBirdās CRM and contribute to forecasting and revenue planningĀ Ā
- Represent LanguageBird at conferences, events, partner meetings, and other opportunities to build relationships and expand our institutional presenceĀ Ā
Required QualificationsĀ
- 3ā5 years of B2B sales experience in education, including sales to schools, districts, private institutions, or education-adjacent organizationsĀ Ā
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing new business in addition to managing and growing existing accountsĀ Ā
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and connect them with appropriate solutionsĀ Ā
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and decision-makersĀ
- Experience managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and maintaining consistent pipeline and relationship management throughout the processĀ Ā
- Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting; HubSpot experience preferredĀ Ā
- Strong organization, initiative, and accountability with the ability to work effectively in a remote environmentĀ Ā
- Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United StatesĀ Ā
Preferred QualificationsĀ
- Experience selling to private Kā12 schools, school districts, or educational enrichment programsĀ Ā
- Familiarity with DoDEA, LEA grant programs, government-funded education programs, or related procurement processesĀ Ā
- Experience with prospecting and market intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
or comparable platformsĀ Ā
- Background in language education, international education, or a related fieldĀ Ā
- Experience developing B2B sales processes or expanding into new institutional marketsĀ Ā
- Established relationships with school administrators, department leaders, educational consultants, or other relevant decision-makersĀ
