Position: Â Â Â Â Operations Assistant I
Department: Â Â Â Â Hollywood Bowl OperationsÂ
FLSA Grade: Â Â Â Â Non-Exempt (Part-time)
Pay Grade: Â Â Â Â $19.50 - $26.21
Position Summary: Â
The Operations Assistant I, reporting to the Operations Administrator, supports all Operations activities and routine. Specific starting pay commensurate with experience.Â
Position Elements:
•   Opening and closing the office
•   General phone duties/take messages
•   Monitor base station and radio distribution
•   Receive and sort incoming mail
•   Greet guests, announce visitors and allow appropriate access into the Operations office
•   Sign for packages, direct messengers and deliveries
•   Manage Lost and Found (organize and log of all property, maintaining of all Lost and Found logs and reports).
•   Check out/in keys to other employees
•   Collect staff ticket requests and distribute tickets
•   Support Park & Ride Operation and reporting
•   Assist LAPA staff by preparing meetingsÂ
•   Coordinate staff meals (organizing and managing the preparation and distribution of meals for employees, which could include tasks like planning menus, ordering food supplies, coordinating with a caterer, ensuring dietary restrictions are accommodated, and overseeing meal service times.)
•   Keep accurate time records and abide by the meal and rest period policy
•   Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:Â
•   Must be 18 years or older
•   High School graduate, College preferred
•   Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
•   Ability to be patient and follow directions from supervisor
•   Ability to collaborate with various departments
•   Strong work ethics
•   Ability to multitask
•   Great organization skills
•   Provide excellent communication skills with attention to detail
•   Existing knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the following:
o   Policies and procedures
o   Layout of the venue
o   Event times and program information
o   Communicate inter and intra departmentally
o   Customer service etiquette
o   Able to effectively use office equipment
o   Proper use of 2-way radios
•   Ability to:
o   Walk the grounds
o   Work long hours
o   Lift and carry up to 20 pounds
o   Sit for up to a couple of hours at a time during work shift
