Job description: A luxury tableware rental company located in East Los Angeles is seeking part-time Warehouse Staff/Dishwashers to work in a fast-paced warehouse! We are looking for great candidates to join our small but growing team! We work with delicate, luxury tableware items so we place high attention to detail and have specific washing and repacking guidelines to maintain our inventory to meet client expectations of quality and accuracy.

Hours will vary week to week. Looking for candidates able to work at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours. Typical workday is between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm M-F but can fluctuate during the busy season to include evening and/or weekend shifts (based on availability and need).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hand-wash and use dishwashers to properly clean and sanitize plates, utensils, glassware, etc.
• Thoroughly clean, dry and inspect items so that they meet high-quality standards to ensure inventory longevity
• Work quickly and efficiently in order to meet washing/repacking deadlines
• Accurately count tableware pieces to compare to client's rental order to record any missing/damaged items to be reported to the office for final invoicing
• Carefully pack tableware items (plates, glasses and utensils) according to collection count guidelines and double check for damages and losses.
• Maintain highest packing standards for rental presentation before collections are returned back into inventory
• Pull event orders according to pull sheets to be cross checked by team for accuracy before it leaves warehouse
• Receive incoming deliveries (new rental inventory, warehouse supplies, etc.) to be unpacked/packed/counted for confirmation
• Assist with other warehouse related duties as needed
• Promote and maintain a clean working environment. Organize space in washroom, sweep and mop floors and take out trash after each shift to be prepared for next shift

• Looking for candidates that possess a positive attitude who thrive in a team environment but are also able to work independently to accomplish and complete tasks given

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be reliable, have a flexible schedule and be open to working late/weekend shifts as needed
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have the ability to stand for 8 hours per day excluding breaks.
• Must have transportation to and from work
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred but not required
• Previous event industry, restaurant, catering experience a plus.
