THE OPPORTUNITY

The Technician ā Level 1 prepares vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, installations, and inspections. This role ensures all units meetĀ company standards by addressing maintenance needs and supporting the maintenance team as needed. Their work directlyĀ impactsĀ resident satisfaction and property appeal.Ā

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESāÆāÆĀ
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order per our Total Quality Make Ready (TQMR) program.āÆĀ
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing repairs, appliance checks, and drywall patching.āÆĀ
- AssistĀ with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards.āÆĀ Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the maintenance team with work orders and groundskeeping as needed.āÆĀ
- Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, parking lots, breezeways, amenities, andĀ common areas.āÆĀ
- Work independently while following company standards,Ā demonstratingĀ attention to detail, andĀ maintainingĀ a commitment to resident satisfaction.āÆĀ
- Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.āÆĀ
- Support the team with other duties as needed toĀ maintainĀ resident satisfaction and property standards.āÆĀ
- In this role, you will travel dailyāÆto one of the assigned communities within your region.Ā āÆThis will typically not exceedāÆa 25-mile radius of the designated primary location.āÆāÆĀ

CANDIDATE PROFILEāÆāÆāÆāÆāÆāÆĀ Ā
- Prior experience in make-ready, maintenance, or related field.āÆĀ
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.āÆĀ
- AbilityĀ to prioritize and manage multipleĀ unitĀ turns efficiently.āÆĀ
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach toĀ maintainingĀ company standards.āÆĀ
- Ability toĀ workĀ flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation.āÆĀ
- Clean Motor Vehicle RecordĀ required.āÆĀ
- Lifting/carrying (supplies, equipment, etc.):āÆĀ
- Over 75 lbs.Ā Ā Rare needāÆĀ
- 25 ā 75 lbs.Ā Ā Occasional needāÆĀ
