Job Objective: As a general laborer, you are always responsible for safety, reporting product quality, recording production weights, proper packaging, and storing finished goods in assigned locations.

Assemble and/or disassemble various products – foam, lumber, corrugated, etc. – according to print sheets in a timely manner.
Safely and responsibly use any tools required for assembly, which could include saws, staplers, nail guns, heat guns, glue guns, wrapping carousel, banding tools, drills, hammers, etc.
Responsible for inspecting and reporting product quality, proper quantities and packaging, proper labels, recording production weights, and storing finished goods in assigned location.
Notify supervisor of material needed for production; may assist in retrieving that material.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and monitor all work processes to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any hazardous situation or identified abuse.
Maintain a clean workspace and perform various general tasks such as sweeping, emptying trash, and cleaning spills; ensuring storage/inventory areas are kept neat.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.

Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.

Ability to read a tape measure is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility: None.

Physical requirements include:

Bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and stooping.

Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.

Frequently lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 70 lbs.

Travel: None.

Working Conditions: The work environment for this position is a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
