Job Summary

Installs and/or retrofits Plumbing commercial and/or industrial setting, reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, and adheres to all safety policies and procedures. Serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provides guidance and training to other technicians.

Essential Duties

 

  • Handles the following plumbing repairs: stoppages/cabling, pumping and backflow testing/repair/replacement, fixture install/replacement and general troubleshooting or repair, domestic water/sewer or storm water leak/repair, fixture rough in, pump replacement/repair, leak locating/line tracing, hydro jetting and camera.
  • Responsible for water heater maintenance/troubleshooting/replacement and boiler maintenance, boiler pumps and circulating, boiler controller, troubleshooting and system installation.
  • Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
  • Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships 
    with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects including coordination and scheduling of 
    vendors. Provides guidance to sub-contractors as needed and performs QA-QC tasks.
  • Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
  • Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets 
    requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
  • Purchases parts, materials, and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
  • Able to work effectively with app based software

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a Service Plumbing Technician
  • Journeyman/Master Plumber Licensed Holder with the State of Texas require.
  • Required plumbing repair skills:
    • Stoppages/cabling, pumping and backflow testing/repair/replacement
    • Fixture install/replacement
    • General troubleshooting and repair
    • Domestic water/sewer or storm water leak/repair, fixture rough-in
    • Pump replacement/repair
