Day Shift (7am-4pm) Please note that during harvest season, schedules may require additional hours and occasional weekend work to support operational needs.

 

Operates and maintains the irrigation equipment. Harvests and maintains the equipment to harvest the crops on the irrigation fields.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

  • Harvest the crops on the spray irrigation fields
  • Operates the spray irrigation pivots and risers
  • Maintains the spray irrigation pivots and risers
  • Maintains the spray irrigation fields
  • Maintains the equipment needed to harvest the spray irrigation fields
  • Must be willing and able to cross-train in the wastewater department during the off-season or periods of reduced workload.

     

Educations/Experience Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • 2 years experience
  • Mechanical, farming
  • Tractor experience
