The Inventory Technician must maintain an accurate count for the production floor; verify that all APW's, counts on the production floor and the counts in IQMS are accurate.  Setup and maintain all packing materials and components required at the presses, track and input all scrap and labor hours at the end of the shift.  The production floor must be clean and organized before leaving the job on a daily basis.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Create APW’s and verify that they are made correctly, when necessary utilize carton builder in IQMS for part counts.
  2. Create labels for all current running production in Real-time, IQMS and verify information is correct.
  3. Pull components and packaging for the work orders that are to run during the shift.
  4. Clear packaging materials and components from workstations at the end of production runs.
  5. Verify and enter all scrap amounts into IQMS as often as necessary.
  6. Disposition inventory using the scan gun.
  7. Perform necessary tasks assigned by the Shift Leader/ Production Manager.
  8. Shift reports need to be completed in their entirety.
  9. Share break responsibility, this will be determined by Shift Leader/ Production Manager.
  10. Report and assist the Shift Leader/ Production Manager/ Customer Response Specialist/Planner in resolving any inventory issues.
  11. Notify Materials of excessive scrap during respective shift.
  12. Ensure Downtime coding is complete and accurate at the end of the shift through collaboration with Shift Leaders, Process Engineers and Setup Technicians.
  13. Have a good understanding of Injection Work Orders
  14. Understanding workstation setup
  15. Completetion of cycle counts per shift
  16. Other duties as assigned by the Shift Leader / Production Manager.


Qualifications:

Educational requirements, certification or licensing standards, experience and basic knowledge requirements,
physical requirements and environmental conditions of the job.

High school or equivalent education. Analytical and detail oriented. Computer knowledge helpful. Math skills.
