Residential Maintenance Technician – Macon, GA

$26–$35/hr · Guaranteed 40 hrs/week · $0.76/mile vehicle / gas reimbursement · Quarterly performance bonus

The deal, up front:

  • Guaranteed 40 hours — if the work orders run short, we pay you anyway
  • $0.76/mile covering gas + vehicle wear (you drive your own truck or van)
  • Quarterly bonus tied to your performance — your bonus is math, not politics

The job:

You'll be the plumbing lead for our single-family rental homes across Macon. Work orders route to your phone, you run your day home to home, you fix it right the first time. We call our techs Property Engineers — you'll see why when you're running your route like your own business.


What you'll work on:

  • Water heaters — diagnosis, repair, and replacement (tank and tankless, gas and electric)
  • Drain clearing and augering, main line stoppages, camera work if you've got the skill
  • Leak detection and repair: supply lines, PEX, copper, CPVC
  • Fixtures, valves, toilets, disposals, hose bibs, shut-offs
  • Repipes and rough-in repair during turns
  • Also will work on work orders for - electrical, carpentry, and appliance calls (multi-trade days happen)
  • Turns/make-readies, inspections, vacancy checks, move-in/out walks
  • Photo documentation in our app (iPhone/iPad — one-day training)

What you need:

  • 3+ years hands-on residential plumbing service and repair
  • Your own truck or van and your own hand tools (tool reimbursement + $0.76/mile)
  • Valid driver's license; live within reasonable distance of city
  • Background check; crawlspaces, slab houses, 50 lbs


Big plus: journeyman card or plumbing license GA, HVAC skills or EPA 608, drain machine and press-tool experience, prior SFR/property maintenance at volume.
