About the Role:
Marvelous Child LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team in Madison Heights, MI! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years in a warm, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-focused lesson plans for toddlers
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
- Supervise toddlers during play, meals, and rest times to ensure health and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals
Requirements:
- Experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare or early education setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- CDA credential, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Ability to meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
