We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing interventions that enable individuals to avoid unnecessary levels of incarceration, enhance community safety and provide a setting that facilitates treatment and the reduction of recidivism. We operate residential and other correctional programs throughout Wisconsin that provide case management, counseling and treatment groups, vocational training and high-risk client monitoring and supervision. Facility/Department summary:  Residential Treatment Centers for Correctional Clients operate 24 hours per day with on-duty staff for our clients. Staff monitor client behaviors and whereabouts in the community and enforce program rules and accountability. Substance abuse counseling, cognitive-based programming and correctional case management are provided in an intensive setting. Clients can be granted gradual re-entry into the community based on earned privileges. All service components of our Residential Treatment Centers emphasize trauma-informed care and employ an individualized approach to each client This full-time position is responsible for ensuring program compliance with program rules and funding guidelines for a correctional Community Based Residential Facility, housing adult correctional clients. Due to the importance placed on security and community safety, this position is integral to the overall success of the program and must be filled by a reliable individual who is capable of making good decisions, has excellent organizational skills, and work well with limited supervision. The ultimate goal of this position is to change behavior in a positive manner to reduce the recidivism rate of our clients. The person who will succeed in this position will have good professional judgement and enthusiasm for creating a therapeutic environment where our residents will succeed. Hours/schedule: 40 hrs./wk. Monday- Friday 12am - 8am. Eligible for all company benefits. Duties include, but are not limited to: Provide security and supervision to clients. Monitor client whereabouts Monitor client behavior Maintain required paperwork, progress notes, daily logs, incident reports Conduct facility checks and assign client activities Supervise client meal preparation & household chores  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) • By being employed with ACS, which is a non-profit agency, you can be eligible for loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. • Loans are eligible to be forgiven after 10 years of on-time and consistent payments through the income-based re-payment plan. • Qualifications.Education & Work Experience Some college preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 years experience and/or education relating to corrections, community based residential facilities (CBRF), criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, security, social service, mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Ability to interact with staff, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries. Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of all agency information. Strong decision making abilities and able to work independently. Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation. Experience in record-keeping. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Ability to interact with staff, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries. Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of all agency information.
