 Experienced Toddler Lead Teacher – Closing Shift

We are seeking an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher for our full-time closing shift. We are looking for a confident, professional educator who is passionate about helping young children thrive while providing leadership and support to fellow teachers.
This position is ideal for someone who is a strong classroom leader, excels at building relationships with families, and enjoys coaching and encouraging newer educators through positive example.
Responsibilities
- Lead a toddler classroom while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Demonstrate exceptional classroom management and positive behavior guidance techniques.
- Support, encourage, and mentor newer teachers by modeling best practices and professionalism.
- Build strong, positive relationships with families through excellent communication and daily updates.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and all center policies.
- Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to maintain a positive, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in a licensed childcare center (Toddler experience preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide other teachers.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills with families.
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Strong team player with a willingness to support the success of the entire school.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or ability to obtain if required by the center).
- Knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards preferred.
