Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and employees. This driving position offers the opportunity to remain visible, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive auction and vehicle processing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, issue temporary access materials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and vendor access to restricted areas, directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, vehicle storage areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
