Position Summary

The role of Quality Component Process Inspector (CPI) / Inline Auditor is to evaluate completed product for conformance to work instructions, customer requirements, and industry standards. This is a second shift position.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate conformance of components submitted for 1st Piece approval prior to releasing equipment for production.
  • Perform inspection at the line for acceptance to product requirements
  • Provide feedback to operators and equipment technicians on product acceptance or rejection
  • Provide feedback to Production and Process Engineering regarding processing issues 
  • Other inspection duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Inspection of products requires use of microscopes and measurement tools.
  • Position requires extended periods of walking and lifting 20lbs 
  • Basic electronic component identification such as resistors, capacitors, IC’s
  • Familiar with inspection equipment such as microscopes, measurement tools 
  • Be detail oriented to ensure customer requirement have been met
  • Ability to follow work instructions written in English
  • Maintain proper documentation on traveler and electronic data entry
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer focus
